Rockband Bizar® is a registered trademark of
Arno van Heerde (more
information). In January 2005 Arno van Heerde
(composer/guitar) founded Rockband Bizar®. At the end of that year Stefan Kanters (Leading Vocal/songtext writer) and Ferry
Westdijk (bass/backing vocals) joined Rockband Bizar®.
After a few months the music ideas were transformed to
songs with a new rock sound.
In March 2006
Rockband Bizar® recorded a Live Demo CD with title "Bizar -
Live". The Demo CD contains the songs "Morass", "Too
much", "Tell me Baby" and "Next Time".
september 2006 Rockband Bizar® welcomes Marco de Groot as a new
drummer. He played in several metalbands like Altar and
Blind Justice. After 2 months this appeared to be a dead end. Bram
(drums) and Joris (temporary bassplayer) gave the
band a brand new energy. After this succesfull
change, Rockband Bizar® gained a 4th place in the semi finals of
the Emergenza International Festival. After several
auditions Patrick Eissens (lead vocal) and Michel van
Beekum (Bass) temporarly joined Bizar.
2008 Rockband Bizar® restarted. Angelique Heussen (management)
and Arno van Heerde started up auditions to select
new members. New musicians joined Rockband Bizar®
untill in late 2009 the band split up. In 2010 new
audiions were held and Jeroen Warmerdam (drums),
Naeim Messchian (bass) joined
Half of 2013 Arthur Smeets joined the line up.
THE BIZAR SOUND
Bizar® is a typical rockband who plays melodic,
powerfull and passionate rock songs and several
rockballads. Many music styles are brought
together in our songs. Classical music, Rock, Grunge and Hardfunk are mixed and we call this "the Bizar
sound of Bizar®".
Rockband Bizar® is a band who plays best at middle or
big stages. A gig from Rockband Bizar® offers a good, steady
and lively rockshow. If you come to our show, you will
